I’ve always had my heart set on Radio, even during high school I spent many afternoons hanging around Capital Radio Studios with Kevin Savage” Darren says.

But when he matriculated from Delasalle College in 1981, instead of pursuing a career in Radio, he went to RAU..Not long into his first year at RAU Scott was offered a job at Capital Radio, and the rest as they say, is history. Darren has 35 years of experience on radio and 25 years of experience on television.

He has presented on Capital radio, 702, MNET, Supersport, 5FM, East Coast Radio, Jacaranda 94.2 and Hot 91.9FM. Scott is no spring chicken in broadcasting, having pioneered a new style of radio with his various radio shows.

He has been nominated for over 30 Liberty Radio Awards, of which he has won 14, including the Best Breakfast Presenter or Show for every year he was nominated.

He was also the SA Sports Journalist of the Year in 1997, and has won 1 X You Magazine Personality of the Year Award and 2 X People Magazine Sports Presenter of the Year awards.
